About DeckDelta
DeckDelta is a local PPT compare tool. It helps reviewers understand structural changes between two modern PowerPoint files without uploading either presentation.
What it compares
The browser reads PPTX slide order and relationships, then extracts slide text, speaker notes and linked media fingerprints. It aligns related slides and reports added, removed, moved, modified and unchanged results.
What it does not claim
DeckDelta does not render slides pixel by pixel and does not support the legacy binary .ppt format. Fonts, charts, animations, themes and layout can still require a final review in PowerPoint or another trusted renderer.
Why it stays local
Presentations can contain confidential work. File validation, extraction, hashing, comparison and report generation therefore run inside the current browser tab.
